Where is “Mr. Golden Sun?”
Did The Mamas and the Papas write “California Dreaming” while visiting Oregon in springtime? Seriously… “All the leaves are brown/ and the sky is gray/ I’ve been for a walk/ On a winter’s day/ I’d be safe and warm/ If I was in L.A./ California dreaming/ On such a winter’s day.”
Love that song. It creates such a mood. While the gray skies, snow and rain this April in Portland has made for snuggly songwriting days – it does nothing for a tan, Daisy dukes and my sunroof. All of which I would like to utilize A.S.A.P. in that order.
Special thank you to everyone that attended our DoveLewis Rock Dogs 4 event recently – especially PDXposed television and KPSU and KUFO radio for their coverage. So awesome. And so great to meet so many new people that connected with our music – and unlimited raffle prizes. Mexican calendar or white Zinfandel anyone? That show was also my birthday and the serenade from the club was hilarious.
Macadam looks forward to performing for you in May. Thanks so much for your support. Drop us a note. =) — Nicole

Hello world!
Hello world! Nicole here. Welcome to the Macadam — Portland rock band Web site — a place to check performance dates, recent photos and pretty much see what we’re up to. A big thank you to Eric Feigner at Nerdsmasher for putting all our media pieces together and making sense of them. You rock!
Please feel free to drop us a note and be sure to check out our performance for Rock Dogs 4 — a benefit for DoveLewis Emergency Animal Hospital tomorrow, Feb. 23, at Mt. Tabor Legacy in Portland, OR. It’s also my birthday so let’s partyyyyyyyyyyy. And shake it for the television show PDXposed, as they’ll be filming a segment about Macadam. OK, enough. I’ve got to sip some tea, try to find my desk — absolute insanity as I’m moving — and continue to mouth the words to the new Paramore album. Thanks for the support. See you at Mt. Tabor.”
